The German Hospital has created the first Center for Inflammatory Diseases in Argentina with the aim of offering, within a private environment, high standards of care to patients suffering from these diseases.

The Center diagnoses and treats intestine inflammatory diseases in both adults and children. A team of renowned specialists widely experienced in treating these conditions cater for the needs of different fields: Immunosuppressant therapies, genetic studies, high complexity surgery using state of the art techniques as the laparoscopic surgery, etc.

150 patients per year are treated for Crohn's Disease and 250 for ulcerous Colitis. Approximately 20 to 30 ileal pouches are annually performed by laparoscopy.
